Company Soleko S.p.A. was founded in 1975 as a laboratory producing intraocular lenses. In 1984 it begins to produce solutions and drops for contact lenses. Around the same time the company launches the contact lenses. Further milestones in the company are to improve quality of products.

Today Soleko S.p.A. is a leader in the Italian market of intraocular lenses and contact lens care. In particular, in 2012 the company announced an innovative product - the solution for contact lenses of all kinds with the inclusion of plant components EKINOS. This product combines the high biocompatibility with excellent antibacterial properties.
