EverClean - peroxide system for all kinds of contact lenses. Main feature and advantage of peroxide systems is performance of sterilization (in contrast to the biguanide disinfecting solutions). The difference between sterilization and disinfection is that first destroys all living things, the pther - removes only some types of bacteria. In addition to this important function in EverClean well solved the cleansing function. Cleaning takes place in parallel and in conjunction with the action of hydrogen peroxide.
In a pill which is placed in the peroxide simultaneously with the lens components are interacting with proteins and lipids. This is a key moment and a specialty of this solution. That is, the proteins are cleaved at the beginning, then cavitation (wildness) are removed from the surface. In other peroxide systems, this issue is not resolved, - peroxide, as it should, performs sterilization, but it also causes solidifications(denaturation) of deposits which afterwards can`t be removed from the surface. Thus, EverClean produces not only sterilization but also cleaning, which is not present in other peroxide systems.
With each use of EverClean a new pill is used. This eliminates the risk of burns, such as in systems using reusable discs.
Neutralization peroxide begins some time later, when the decomposition of the top shell of the pill starts, causing peroxide to "work" well before its neutralization begins. In peroxide systems with metal disk neutralization of peroxide begins with the first second.
EverClean has a convenient color indication. At the end of the process the solution gets a little green - the lens can be worn straight from this solution. No need to pinpoint the time.
Decay products is buffered isotonic solution, whereby it is possible to keep the lens in it for several days (until the next cleaning).
