Bandage lens
Bandage lens is a separate type of contact lenses that protects the cornea and sclera from external factors. These lenses create a protective stabilizing shell around the cornea, protecting the damaged area against foreign bodies, accelerate the rehabilitation process and stabilize the cornea.
These lenses are used only when indicated by a physician.
