The Italian company Soleko presented to the Ukrainian market its latest development (2013) - Ekinos solution. It is different from other products and includes vegetative components in its composition - stem meristem cell extracts from biological plantations Echinacea (echinacea) and sunflower lecithin (GPI choline). Both components are known for their beneficial effects on the metabolism, regeneration, restoration of the cells and tissues of the living organism.
The solution has a very high bactericidal and fungicidal activity. Biological tests for Staphylococcus (Staphylococcus aureus), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (Aerugionosa Pseudomonas), enterobacteria (serratia marecescens), Candida White (Candida albicans) and Fusarium (fusarium solani) showed the highest antibacterial and fungicidal power, meeting the study criteria established by UNI EN ISO 14729 for products to care for contact lenses.
The manufacturer has not disregarded the lubricating properties of the product, adding a lubricant composition hydroxyethylcellose.

sterile buffered aqueous solution comprising: sodium borate, PHMB - polyhexamethylene biguanide 0.0002%, Echinacea Plus - 0,001%, GPI (glycosylated phosphatidylinositol and extracts of sunflower lecithin) - 0,012%, Poloxamer 407 (poloxamer 407) 0,2%, Hydroxyethylcellose (gidroksetiltsellyuloza ) 0.15%.
