Biomedics XC - hydrogel contact lenses worn for a period of two weeks to a month for day and extended wear.

Cooper Vision The company is positioning this as a biocompatible contact lens. The reason for this is the lens material containing molecules of phosphorylcholine (PC) - a substance found in the natural environment of human membranes. Besides biocompatibility phosphorylcholine it believed that these molecules are attracting water, thereby making the lens more moist.
