Rigid contact lenses (ZHKL) targeted primarily at people who have astigmatism or some specific form of the eye. ZHKL fundamentally different from the soft contact lenses, and almost all of the difference for the better:

no soft lenses, including silicone, can not be compared with a rigid contact lens to provide the eye with oxygen. ZHKL, moreover, that has a high oxygen permeability, is very mobile on the eye, thereby adding more oxygen through the tear duct;
ZHKL automatically correcting astigmatism up to -3.0 D in the CYL vertical axes (most astigmatikov);
ZHKL with evaporation of the liquid does not affect its parameters;
Optics is constant and clear;
no failures and discomfort-free, as opposed to soft toric lenses;
ZHKL about 2-3 times less than the soft contact lenses affect the thinning of tears.

The main problem of hard contact lenses (in the Ukraine) is a skill selection (qualification of the doctor) and craftsmanship lenses.

The model is made in the system of the Soviet scientist Professor Kivaeva. This technique provides a thorough and high-quality selection ZHKL (Podbornoe set doctor has more than 400 lenses). We can say that in this matter the Soviet school has surpassed the known foreign schools.

Висвітлю одну дорогоцінну інформацію-своєрідну істину. Жорсткі лінзи при усіх своїх оптичних перевагах над м'якими лінзами безсумнівно круто уступають м'яким по комфорту носіня, але кардинально ситуація міняється, якщо під жорстку лінзу надіти м'яку, бажано силікон-гідрогелієву діоптрій правда треба підбирати індивідуально. По діоптричній силі главенство має брати на себе жорстка лінза, а по комфорту-м'яка. Правда така комбінація дещо дорожча, але якщо люди віддали перевагу жорстким в силу певних зорових обставин, то така комбінація реально додасть балів до бажання не розлучатися з лінзами, адже така комбінація поєднує достоїнства м'яких та жорстких контактних лінз. Якщо м'які лінзи не можуть зкорегувати зір до необхідного рівня, то жорсткі мають більше шансів справитися з даною задачою, а в поєднані з м'якою-це бомба з радістними відчуттями-переконався на собі. Я забув, що таке різь в очах чи біль від пилових подразників.
